Information About Aytas

Our company's original full name is Aytas Tarim Urunleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. Aytas is established at 1985. Aytas began to trade with importing food grade chemicals to Turkey. Aytas is one of the leading companyin trading ethanol business in Turkey since 1997.

Aytas is a family owned company. Before 1995, Aytas and Ustunay were 2 sister companies and were owned by 2 families. At 1995, 2 families leaved the partnership, companies demerged and Aydogdu family got the Aytas.Aytas started to import chemicals for food industry. At 1997, Aytas entered ethanol trading market at Turkish domestic market. At the first times imports of ethanol, Aytas had problems with turkish government, because Ethanol trading was controlled by Turkish Monopoly (TEKEL). TEKEL demanded to control Turkish market as monopol and to keep control of the market, it didn't give any Ethanol import permission to any company. Aytas Tarim Urunleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. broke this monopol chain and Aytas has been the first offical Ethanol importer in Turkey. Later, company built a factory at Aegean Free Zone and a few years later built another factory at Ataturk Industry Zone. At Aegean Free Zone factory while importing ethanols, company manufactered chef's dish fuels and exported it to all Europe. Now, company's main job is trading ethanols, secondly is manufactering chef's dish fuels.

Our company is the registered ethanol trader company by Turkish Inspection Department (TAPDK).
